Robotics Workshop at Alviso Library

On September 20, 2025, we hosted our second free robotics workshop at the Alviso Library, welcoming 21 students. For all but one participant, this was their very first hands-on robotics experience, as they have limited access to STEM opportunities. Students were divided into four teams, each building their own robot and then competing in a friendly game. The workshop not only introduced them to robotics but also gave them the chance to develop valuable STEM skills—while ending the day with a fun and exciting competition.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Students and their parents loved the workshop and expressed hope that we would return often. Some even offered donations and volunteered to help us run future workshops. Encouraged by this support, we plan to host this event on a monthly basis going forward.

Our team members Angie Z., Grant H., Alex L., Lexie L., and Zixuan Y. worked together to make this event possible.
